Brookhaven's trusted auto repair since day one
Your car
deserves
better than
guesswork.
At Port Jeff Car Care Center, every diagnosis is thorough, every repair is done right the first time, and every customer is treated like a neighbor — because that's exactly what you are.
What we do
Comprehensive care
for every make and model.
Engine Diagnostics
Advanced scan tools and experienced hands to pinpoint the issue — no part swapping, no guessing. We find the root cause so the fix sticks.
Oil & Fluid Services
Synthetic, conventional, or high-mileage — we use what your vehicle actually needs. Plus a multi-point inspection with every visit.
Brake Service
Pads, rotors, calipers, and fluid — complete brake systems rebuilt with quality parts. Because stopping safely should never be an afterthought.
Tires & Alignment
Mounting, balancing, rotation, and precision alignment. We'll help you get the most miles out of your tires — and keep your car tracking straight.
Schedule & Maintenance
Follow the factory schedule or beat it — either way, we keep detailed records so you always know what's been done and what's due next.
Check Engine & Warning Lights
That light on your dash doesn't have to be a mystery. We read codes, interpret them, and tell you exactly what — and what isn't — wrong.
About us
Built on
honesty,
kept running on skill.
Port Jeff Car Care Center has been serving the Brookhaven community from Route 112 for years. We started as a small shop with a simple belief: treat every car like it's your own, and every customer like they're coming back tomorrow.
That philosophy hasn't changed. We're not a chain, we're not a franchise, and we don't have corporate targets pushing unnecessary repairs. What we do have is years of hands-on experience, a commitment to transparent pricing, and a team that genuinely cares about getting you back on the road safely.
Whether it's a routine oil change or a complex transmission rebuild, we bring the same attention to detail and the same straightforward communication to every job.
Why choose us
The difference
is in the details.
We've earned the trust of drivers across Brookhaven by doing what most shops won't — being upfront, thorough, and genuinely fair.
Transparent pricing
We explain what needs to be done and why — before any work begins. No surprise charges, no inflated estimates.
Experienced technicians
Our team has decades of combined experience across domestic and imported vehicles. Complex problems are our specialty.
Quality parts
We use OEM or equivalent-quality parts for every repair. Cheaper alternatives don't belong in your car — and we won't install them.
Neighborhood trust
Most of our customers are repeat visitors or referrals from neighbors. That kind of loyalty is earned one honest interaction at a time.
